I’m a Medical Technologist by trade but a stay at home mom by choice.  I’ve always loved baking and  my interest for sweets became more evident when I had my kids. I spent hours in the kitchen making their birthday cakes without even knowing what time of the day it was!

Looking back at pictures of those first cakes is a little embarrassing... thinking back now, I thought they were pretty amazing! 

 

My passion for baking started with some Wilton’s cake decorating classes and the rest is history. I am a self-taught cake decorator...well maybe I should give some credit to YouTube, as I learnt most of my baking techniques watching endless videos.

 

Baking is a form of therapy for me and a free one!  I always use real ingredients and I love challenging myself with cakes that I’ve never done before.

 

My happiest moments are when I see my clients after they receive their cakes. Their faces illuminate and it’s always a job well done, especially when a client  tells me they want me to make their next cake!
